Jamaica Plain Man Robbed on Washington St.A victim who reportedly was robbed at gunpoint approached officers at 3122 Washington St. in Jamaica Plain yesterday morning. The victim was at the 4M Market on Washington St. when an unknown black male began talking to him. When the victim left the restaurant, the suspect and another man stole $200 from the victim at gunpoint, punched him and then fled. Officers in the area searched for the men, but they were not found.
Man with Firearm Arrested in Dorchester
Police from District 11 responded to a call at 10 Brinsley St. in Dorchester this morning where a suspect with a firearm threatened his neighbor. The 44-year-old suspect was properly identified and arrested for Possession of a Dangerous Weapon and four outstanding warrants.
Rootz Dollar Store Not Up to Code
This morning at 11:30am, two Boston Police sergeants conducted a Licensed Premise Inspection at Rootz Dollar Store on 166 South St. in Jamaica Plain. Owner Mohamoud Warfa was issued a violation notice for his lack of a Site Cleanliness Permit, Retail Food Permit and a Fire Department Inspection Permit.
