Once again, Operation \”Home Safe\” hit the streets of Dorchester and Roxbury this weekend rounding up 60 people. Beginning on Thursday, January 12, 2006 and running through Saturday the 14th, officers hit the streets in an effort to remove violent offenders and clean up area hot spots. A total of 60 were arrested in the weekend operation including a juvenile armed with a loaded .45 caliber handgun. Arraignment will be in both Roxbury and Dorchester District Courts on Tuesdy morning.
