Operation Home Safe hit the streets of Dorchester this weekend netting 53 arrests. Home Safe focuses on identified hotspots utilizing uniformed and plainclothes officers from across the city along with our partners in the MBTA Transit Police, and the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms.Most of the arrests this weekend were made pursuant to outstanding arrest warrants with charges ranging from Drug offenses to Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon to Breaking and Entering to Unarmed Robbery. Those arrested will be in Dorchester Court on Tuesday Morning.
