Shortly before 5pm on the afternoon of September 22, 2005 officers responded to 1475 Dorchester Avenue, the Fields Corner MBTA station, to investigate a body on the tracks. On arrival officers observed the victim, 23-year-old Theodore D. Faulk, Jr. of Dorchester lying on the tracks being treated by Boston EMS.
Faulk was pronounced dead at the scene and the cause of death was determined to be electrocution. Preliminary information received was that the victim was involved in a struggle with another individual prior to coming into contact with the tracks.
Homicide Detectives continued to investigate this incident and on Monday December 5th a determination was made along with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner that Faulk’s death be ruled a homicide. (Boston’s 67th of the year)
Today, after a thorough investigation, Homicide Detectives sought an arrest warrant for 19-year-old Willie Bizzell of Dorchester charging him with Manslaughter in connection with Faulk’s death. Bizzell was taken into custody around 4pm tonight at 153 Norwell Street in Dorchester. He will be arraigned in Dorchester District Court tomorrow morning.
