Officers from District C-11 partnered with TD Bank, Boston Public Schools NExT Program, and the Boston Public Health Commission to support local students participating in a financial literacy program. Officers from District E-5 and the Bureau of Community Engagement visited first grade students at Holy Name Parish School in West Roxbury. Students had the opportunity to ask officers questions about policing and enjoyed some special “paws-on” time with Copper, the BPD Comfort Dog. The class also got to check out the new Copper Coloring
Officers from District B-2 are excited to launch their own edition of the “Walk the Beat” program. Community members are invited to join us for coffee, conversation, walks on the indoor track, and an opportunity to get to know the officers serving their neighborhood. The program takes place every Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00
