Members of the Boston Police Fugitive Unit, Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section (VFAS) Unit, and the United States Marshals Service arrested Catrelle Davis, 24, of Roxbury, at approximately 4:35 PM on Tuesday, July 21, 2026.
Davis was taken into custody near the intersection of Maple Street and Sonoma Street in Dorchester on a straight warrant issued out of Dorchester District Court charging him with Murder.
The facts and circumstances of the initial incident are as follows:
At approximately 12:36 AM on Sunday, July 5, 2026, an officer assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) observed a person suffering from a gunshot wound in the area of 500 Blue Hill Avenue in Roxbury.
Officers then located three victims suffering from gunshot wounds in the area of 500 Blue Hill Avenue. All three were treated and transported by Boston EMS to local hospitals. One victim was pronounced deceased at the hospital. That victim has since been identified as Travis Deonard Washington, 24-years-old, of Roxbury. The other two victims’ injuries are considered non-life-threatening. A fourth victim self-applied to a local hospital suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and is expected to survive.
