Captain Warren Hoppie and officers from District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) rolled up their sleeves and got to work at Robert Lawson Park in Egleston Square, joining residents to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of “Love Your Block”.
“Love Your Block” is a City of Boston initiative that sees volunteers revitalize public spaces through neighborhood cleanups, beautification projects, and community building—and this cleanup was a perfect example.
Officers spent the day picking up litter, planting flowers, and connecting with neighbors—doing their part to help improve the area while strengthening community ties.
This effort reflects what Community Policing is all about: working side by side with residents to build stronger, safer neighborhoods together.
