BPD in the Community: The Boston Police Commissioner’s Cup Tournament Has Another Successful Year

Over the past two weekends, the annual Boston Police Commissioner’s Cup Hockey Tournament brought together officers and staff from across the department for some good-spirited, co-ed competition on the ice!

Commissioner Michael Cox was on hand to take in the action and support this fun, interdepartmental event that promotes teamwork, camaraderie, and connection outside the workplace.

After a hard-fought final, Area B skated away with the Championship, defeating Area D by a score of 5–3.

Beyond the rink, the tournament also raised over $5,000 for local charities making a difference throughout the Boston community—a huge win for everyone!

Thank you to everyone who took part and we can’t wait to drop the puck next year!
