On Tuesday, January 28, 2025, Officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) arrested 31-year-old Jorge Gonzalez, of Boston, on multiple outstanding warrants related to shoplifting incidents in Roxbury.
At approximately 1:41 PM, Officers responded to a larceny in progress at CVS Pharmacy, 778 Dudley Street, Roxbury. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a witness who described the suspect and reported that he had stolen several hundred dollars’ worth of merchandise.
Officers reviewed surveillance footage and identified the suspect as Jorge Gonzalez, whom they recognized from multiple prior interactions in recent months. Gonzalez had active warrants for previous shoplifting incidents involving the theft of thousands of dollars’ worth of merchandise.On January 29, 2025, Gonzalez was placed under arrest for an active warrant related to this incident. He is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court on the charge of shoplifting.
