On Monday, January 27, 2025, 37-year-old Emmanuel Rivera-Robles surrendered to Connecticut authorities. Rivera-Robles was wanted by District B-2 Detectives in connection with a burglary that took place on November 21, 2024, at an elderly residential facility on Woodcliff Street, Dorchester.
Disguised as a maintenance worker, Rivera-Robles forced his way into the home of an 85-year-old female victim, stealing her Social Security, EBT, MassHealth, and debit cards. The victim, frozen in fear, was left deeply shaken by the crime.
Through diligent investigative work, District B-2 Detectives obtained and analyzed surveillance footage, leading to a vehicle of interest. A records check revealed that the vehicle had been involved in a traffic stop, where Rivera-Robles was ultimately identified through body-worn camera footage provided by the Massachusetts State Police.
With this crucial evidence, Detectives secured arrest warrants, and the Boston Police Fugitive Unit coordinated Rivera-Robles’ surrender to authorities in Connecticut.
Rivera-Robles was placed under arrest and arraigned in Roxbury District Court for the following charges:
- Breaking and Entering in the Daytime
- Trespassing
- Assault and Battery of a Person Over 60 Years of Age
- Larceny from a Building
This investigation underscores the dedication and investigative skill of District B-2 Detectives, ensuring justice for the victim and the safety of our community.
