Boston Police Commissioner Cox, members of the Command Staff, and several of our officers joined some amazing young athletes and community members for two full days of basketball, fun, and community spirit!
Our officers were out there on the court, not just as referees and coaches, but as mentors and friends, showing that we’re all on the same team when it comes to building a strong, united Boston.
‘Play 4 Peace’ even took a moment during the day to recognize our own Superintendent James Chin with their 2024 Community Service Award for his help making our city a safer place through events just like these.
Commissioner Cox was on hand both days and took part in the awards ceremony.
