Investigation Update: On Monday, December 18, 2023, Detectives assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) obtained an arrest warrant for Christopher Meade, 30, of Malden who is currently in custody for a separate incident. Meade will be charged with: Unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building.
The facts and circumstances surrounding the original incident are as follows: At about 3:51 AM, on Monday, December 4, 2023, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to the area of 48 Clifford Street for a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, officers located a victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
