At about 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 4, 2026, officers assigned to District 1 (Downtown) made an on-site warrant arrest of Kevin Davis, 66, of Hyde Park, at the intersection of Washington Street and Winter Street.
Davis was arrested in connection with two separate incidents involving breaking and entering and commercial burglaries. One incident occurred in the area of Arch Street, while the second incident occurred in the area of Neponset Avenue.
During the arrest, officers located multiple credit cards and identification cards that did not belong to Davis, including a local university identification card.
At the time of his arrest, officers were also aware that Davis had eighteen (18) active arrest warrants from local jurisdictions, including Quincy, Braintree, Cambridge, Malden, MIT Police, and Northeastern University Police Department. The warrants include charges for Breaking and Entering, Larceny from a Building, Credit Card Fraud, Trespassing, and multiple domestic violence-related offenses. Davis was also wanted on a third (3rd) offense for domestic violence out of Rhode Island.
Davis is expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court on the following charges:
- Quincy District Court: Larceny from a Building; two counts of Credit Card Fraud under $1,200
- Boston Municipal Court: Three counts of Credit Card Fraud under $1,200; Breaking and Entering in the Daytime for a Felony
- Roxbury District Court: Two counts of Credit Card Fraud; Larceny from a Building; Attempt to Commit a Crime
- Roxbury District Court (Northeastern University Police): Larceny from a Building; Trespass; Improper Use of a Credit Card; Attempt to Commit a Crime
- Cambridge District Court: Larceny from a Building; Credit Card Fraud under $1,200
- Quincy District Court: Larceny from a Building; Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon
- Quincy District Court: Witness Intimidation; four counts of Violation of an Abuse Prevention Order
- Cambridge District Court: Credit Card Fraud under $1,200; Receiving Stolen Property under $1,200
- Roxbury District Court (Northeastern University Police): Breaking and Entering in the Daytime for a Felony; Larceny from a Building; Improper Use of a Credit Card under $1,200; Attempt to Commit a Crime
- Malden District Court: Larceny from a Building
- Cambridge District Court: Credit Card Fraud under $1,200; Receiving Stolen Property under $1,200
- Cambridge District Court: Assault with a Dangerous Weapon; Trespass
- Boston Municipal Court: Three counts of Credit Card Fraud under $1,200; Breaking and Entering in the Daytime for a Felony
- Quincy District Court: Three counts of Strangulation or Suffocation; Kidnapping; Assault and Battery on a Person over 60; Witness Intimidation
Davis will also be extradited to Rhode Island to face a charge in Rhode Island Superior Court for Criminal Violence, Third Offense of Domestic Violence
