At about 11:48 a.m. on Friday, September 4, 2026, officers assigned to District 1 (Downtown) responded to two separate assault incidents in the Downtown area, which resulted in the arrest of Aaron Meuse, 42, of Boston.
Officers were met by the initial victim, who stated that he was picking up his prescription at a local pharmacy. The victim stated that he was assaulted by Aaron Meuse, 42. The victim stated that Meuse struck him twice on his right upper arm before fleeing the area. After a few moments, the victim observed two puncture marks and blood dripping from his arm. The victim and witnesses provided officers with a description of the male, and the victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers then responded to a secondary incident in the area of West Street. Officers spoke with an additional victim, who stated that the suspect entered the bar and attempted to order a drink. The victim stated that the suspect then assaulted him before walking out of the bar. The victim sustained a minor laceration to the neck area and successfully flagged down Suffolk University Police sergeants in the area for further assistance. With the assistance of Suffolk University Police, officers were able to safely place Aaron Meuse in handcuffs. The secondary victim was also transported to a local hospital for further evaluation with non-life-threatening injuries.
Aaron Meuse is expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court on the following charge:
