Traffic Enforcement Initiative Conducted in Jamaica Plain

At about 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2026, officers assigned to District 13 (Jamaica Plain), assisted by the Auto Theft Unit, Boston Housing Authority Police, and the Boston Transportation Department, conducted a traffic enforcement initiative in the area of Bickford Street and Horan Way.

This enforcement initiative comes as the City of Boston continues to address felonious incidents involving operators of mopeds and motorcycles, while also curbing unsafe, illegal, and disruptive behavior.

Throughout the initiative, officers towed ten (10) mopeds, scooters, and motorcycles and seized one (1) illegitimate Massachusetts license plate.

The Boston Police Department remains committed to improving traffic safety and will continue to conduct enforcement operations across the city.
