At about 7:21 a.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, Boston Police Homicide detectives arrived at the Worcester Police Department and arrested Lordly Churcher, 22, in connection with a homicide that occurred on August 17, 2026, at the intersection of Wilbert Road and Harvard Street.
The facts and circumstances surrounding the prior incident are as follows: On August 17, 2026, officers from District 3 (Mattapan) responded to a radio call for a person stabbed in the area of Wilbert Road and Harvard Street. Upon arrival, officers located the adult male victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
Lordly Churcher is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court on the following charge:
