BPD Community Alert: Detectives Seek Public’s Assistance in efforts to Locate Marico Levy who is Wanted for Murder in relation to a Homicide Investigation in Boston

The Boston Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in efforts to locate Marico Levy, 17-years-old, of Aubrey, Texas, who is wanted for murder in an ongoing homicide investigation which occurred in the area of 675 Atlantic Avenue (South Station) in Boston. Levy is described as a black male, 5’7” in height, 140 lbs. in weight, with black hair and brown eyes.

The facts and circumstances of the incidents are as follows:

At about 5:33 PM on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, Transit Police Officers responded to a radio call for a person stabbed in the area of 675 Atlantic Avenue (South Station) in Boston.

Upon arrival, officers located Latavius Owens, 29, of Memphis, Tennessee suffering from an apparent stab wound, inside of the train station. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Preliminary investigation indicates the victim and suspect engaged in an altercation on an escalator that leads to an exit leaving South Station.

The Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Marico Levy is strongly urged to contact the Boston Police Homicide Unit at 617-343-4470.
