As part of an ongoing armed robbery investigation officers arrested Deivi Yoander Sanchez Aguasvivas, 24-years-old, and Luis Miguel Ramirez-Astacio, 26-years-old.
The facts and circumstances of the original incident are as follows:
At approximately 3:59 PM on Thursday, July 30, 2026, officers responded to a radio call for an armed robbery in the area of 140 Humboldt Avenue in Dorchester.
Upon arrival, officers were met by the victim who stated she was robbed at knife point by two males on a blue moped. The victim stated she was walking in the area of the aforementioned location when the passenger of the moped jumped off and ran towards her. The victim stated she fell to the ground as the suspect, armed with a knife, approached her. The victim stated the suspect removed the victim’s chain and took her wallet before returning to the moped and fleeing on Humboldt Avenue towards Seaver Street.
Detectives responded to the scene and began their investigation which eventually led them to the area of 777 Tremont Street. Detectives observed the blue moped arrive, with both suspects in tow, at approximately 4:46 PM. Detectives further observed the operator enter the building while the passenger fled the area on the moped. Detectives approached the operator, later identified as Deivi Yoander Sanchez Aguasvivas, at 777 Tremont Street, where he was taken into custody.
The second suspect was observed leaving 777 Tremont Street, where he dropped off the operator, and proceeded to the area of Barry Street in Dorchester. At approximately 2:36 PM on Friday, July 31, 2026, detectives arrived at Barry Street where they located the blue moped. The second suspect, who was later identified as Luis Miguel Ramirez-Aguasvivas, was taken into custody inside of the residence on Barry Street.
Both suspects are expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court on charges of Armed Robbery and Assault by means of a Dangerous Weapon.
Additionally, Ramirez-Astacio was found to have an outstanding warrant issued out of Suffolk Superior Court on two counts of Assault to Rob, two counts of Assault and Battery, five counts of Unarmed Robbery, Unarmed Assault to Rob, Assault and Battery Elderly/Disabled Victim, and Unarmed Robbery.
