The Boston Police Department is advising motorists and pedestrians of the closure of the West Roxbury Parkway Bridge over the MBTA Commuter Rail Needham Line beginning Monday, July 20, 2026, and continuing through December 2026.
To help mitigate traffic congestion, Beech Street will become a one-way street from the intersection of Belgrade Avenue to the signalized intersection at West Roxbury Parkway and Anawan Avenue.
Please pay close attention to all posted signage. Police details, temporary lane markings, traffic control devices, including barriers and traffic cones, signage, and other traffic management measures will be in place throughout the project to help maintain traffic flow and create safe work zones within the project area.
