Keeping Boston Safe: At about 6:01 AM on Monday, July 13, 2026, members of the Human Trafficking Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, SWAT Team, and Massachusetts State Police Special Services Section High Risk Victim Squad, conducted a multi-agency operation which resulted in the arrest of Keysha Ortiz, 37-years-old, of Dorchester, and Yuberkys Recci, 29-years-old, of Dorchester.
As part of ongoing efforts to identify, disrupt, and dismantle human trafficking networks within the City of Boston, officers were able to secure several warrants for the suspect’s (Recci) person, a residence on Magnolia Street, and a motor vehicle. Officers recovered a loaded 9mm pistol and two hundred rounds of ammunition from the residence.
Both suspects are expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
Recci is charged with Kidnapping, Trafficking of a Person for Sexual Servitude, Deriving Support from Prostitution, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Assault by means of a Dangerous Weapon to wit Firearm, Possession with Intent to Distribute Class A Drugs, Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B Drugs, and Witness Intimidation.
Ortiz is charged with Armed Career Criminal Level Three, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Assault and Battery by means of a Dangerous Weapon, Possession with Intent to Distribute Class A Drugs, Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B Drugs, and two counts of Assault by means of a Dangerous.
