Investigation Update: At about 6:00 AM on Friday, June 26, 2026, members of the Boston Police Fugitive Unit and the US Marshal Service arrested Armani Collazos, 26-years-old, in the area of 284 N. Beacon Street in Brighton.
Collazos, of Brighton, was taken into custody by virtue of a straight warrant issued out of Suffolk Superior Court on charges of Murder, Assault and Battery Attempt with a Firearm, four counts of Assault to Murder by means of a Firearm, Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License, and Carrying a Firearm without a License Second Offense.
At about 8:45 AM on Friday, June 26, 2026, members of the Boston Police Homicide Unit Arrested Miranda Bodden, 22-years-old, in the area of 57 Everett Street in Allston.
Bodden, of Allston, was taken into custody by virtue of a straight warrant issued out of Suffolk Superior Court for charges of five counts of Accessory After the Fact.
The facts and circumstances of the initial incident are as follows:
At approximately 8:10 PM, on Thursday, June 12, 2025, officers assigned to District D-14 (Brighton) responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of 17A Gordon Street in Allston.
Upon arrival, officers located a 15-year-old juvenile male victim outside of 7 Pomeroy Street suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported by Boston EMS to a local hospital where he remained until pronounced deceased on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.
The victim was later identified as Phillip Franco of Brighton.
