As part of our Summer Event Safety PSA Series, the Boston Police Department with our law enforcement partners at the Foxborough Police Department, Massachusetts State Police, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation Boston Division (FBI), are reminding residents and visitors of No Drone Zones that are in place throughout the summer.
These restrictions are designed to help keep everyone safe during the many major events taking place.
Flying a drone in a restricted area is a federal offense that carries significant penalties, including fines of up to $100,000, up to one year in prison, and the seizure of your drone. Leave drones at home during the busy summer event schedule.
If you observe unsafe or suspicious drone activity, please report it immediately by calling 9-1-1.
Together, we can help ensure a safe and enjoyable summer for residents and visitors alike!
