Officers from District E-5 and the Bureau of Community Engagement visited first grade students at Holy Name Parish School in West Roxbury.
Students had the opportunity to ask officers questions about policing and enjoyed some special “paws-on” time with Copper, the BPD Comfort Dog. The class also got to check out the new Copper Coloring Book, which shares the story of how Copper became the Boston Police Department’s first comfort dog and it talks about the pups training.
Thank you to Holy Name Parish School for welcoming us, we look forward to visiting again soon!
