BPD Drug Control Units Assist Regional Task Force in Major Narcotics Trafficking Arrest

At about 9:00 AM on Friday, October 24, 2025, members of the Boston Police Department’s E-5 (West Roxbury) and E-18 (Hyde Park) Drug Control Units assisted the Suburban Middlesex County Drug Task Force in executing multiple search warrants issued by Waltham District Court. The warrants authorized the search of the person, residence, and motor vehicle of Prince Denis, 34, of Brockton, MA.

During the operation, investigators observed Denis exit from the rear of 280 Hyde Park Avenue carrying a brown paper bag, which he placed into a nearby vehicle. Officers approached, identified themselves, and informed Denis of the search warrants. Recovered from Denis were a key fob, a set of keys associated with an apartment located in 280 Hyde Park Avenue, and a mobile phone.

Using the keys, officers entered the apartment and executed the corresponding search warrant. Inside, officers recovered two bottles of lactose, a locked strong box containing an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency, and keys belonging to the strong box.

Officers also executed the search warrant for the vehicle, where they recovered a brown paper bag containing approximately 233 grams of a white rock-like substance believed to be crack cocaine, along with personal papers in the name of Prince Denis. The vehicle was seized pending forfeiture through the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.

As a result, Prince Denis was placed under arrest and charged with Trafficking a Class B Substance (Over 200 Grams). He is expected to be arraigned in West Roxbury District Court.
