BPD Community Alert: Detectives Seek to Identify Individuals in Connection to an Assault and Larceny Investigation in Dorchester

Detectives assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the individuals pictured in connection to an assault and larceny incident that occurred at about 12:45 p.m. on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Madrag’s, located at 452 Blue Hill Avenue in Dorchester.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with an adult female victim who stated that two unknown males entered the store and began verbally berating her. The victim verbally trespassed the suspects and asked them to leave. One of the males then grabbed a burgundy or maroon-colored handbag, passed all points of purchase, and exited the store without paying. The second male threw a plastic water bottle at the victim before leaving the store. Officers observed the victim to be covered in water.

The suspects are described as two Black males in their twenties who the victim has not seen before. Officers canvassed the area for the suspects with negative results. The victim declined medical attention.
