On Thursday, August 21, 2025, officers assigned to the Drug Control Units of District B-2 (Roxbury), A-7 (East Boston), C-11 (Dorchester), City Wide, and the FBI Metro Boston Task Force, arrested Daylon Pereira, 24, of Boston, of firearm related offenses.
Officers were armed with search warrants issued out of Roxbury District Court for 42 Brooke Ave, in Roxbury. As a result of the search warrants, officers recovered a Firestorm .40 caliber pistol with six rounds in the magazine. Officers also recovered a digital scale, and drug packaging materials.
Pereira was placed under arrest and is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court for the following charges:
- Unlawful Possession of a Firearm
- Unlawful Possession of Ammunition
