At approximately 10:30 PM on Monday, August 18, 2025, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a ShotSpotter activation in the area of 11 Balfour Street.
Upon arrival, officers canvassed the area and recovered multiple pieces of ballistic evidence in the side parking lot of 11 Balfour Street. During an expanded search of the area, officers located a black .223 caliber rifle inside a black duffle bag along with a white t-shirt on the front landing of 9 Balfour Street. Additional ballistic damage was located on a vehicle parked on Howard Avenue, at 28 Cunningham Street, and a basketball hoop near Howard Avenue.
