On Tuesday, August 12, 2025, officers assigned to District C-11 (Dorchester) arrested Paulesha Jacobs, 27, of Roxbury, and Reheem Buckmire, 30, of Dorchester, on firearm related charges.
About 6:50 PM, officers responded to a radio call for a report of a person with a gun in the area of 1944 Dorchester Avenue. Boston Police Operations advised officers that a suspect inside a motor vehicle pulled a firearm on another driver. A description of the vehicle and the involved suspect was broadcasted to responding units.
A Trooper from the Massachusetts State Police was able to stop the vehicle at 772 Adams Street. Boston Police Officers arrived on scene and an exit order was immediately issued. Both occupants exited the vehicle, and officers quickly determined the vehicle had expired registration.
Officers conducted a motor vehicle inventory search and recovered a firearm from inside a pink bag. The firearm was a Ghost Gun with seven rounds loaded in the magazine. Officers also recovered a second backpack that contained three different driver’s licenses, and one round of 40 caliber ammunition.
Both suspects were placed under arrest and expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court for the following charges:
Jacobs:
- Carrying a Firearm without a License
- Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License
- Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card
- Unregistered Motor Vehicle
Buckmire:
- Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card
- Three Counts of Forge/Misuse of RMV Signature
