Investigation Update: At about 8:00 AM, on Thursday, August 7, 2025, members of the Boston Police Fugitive Unit with the assistance of the Massachusetts Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section (VFAS), and the Weymouth Police Department, arrested Justice Grubb, 22, of Boston, in the area of 79 Central Street, Weymouth. At the time of his arrest, the suspect was wanted on a straight warrant issued out of Brighton District Court for the following charges:
- Carrying a Firearm without a License
- Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card
- Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License
- Assault to Murder
- Discharge a Firearm within 500 Feet of a Dwelling
Grubb is expected to be arraigned in Brighton District Court.
The facts and circumstances surrounding the prior incident are as follows: At about 9:20 PM, on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, officers assigned to District D-14 (Allston/Brighton) responded to the area of 282 North Beacon Street for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
