On Saturday, June 28, 2025, officers assigned to the Drug Control Units of District C-6 (South Boston), B-2 (Roxbury), and the Citywide DCU, arrested Rahsaan Lashley, 39, of Dorchester, and Bianca Lee Cruz, 43, of Dorchester, on firearm charges and multiple warrants.
At 10:45 AM, officers were conducting a drug operation with the execution of search warrants in the area of 16 Old Road, Dorchester. Officers set up surveillance around the area and observed the target of the investigation exiting the building. The suspect began walking down the street, and was stopped by officers assigned to District B-3 (Mattapan). Drug Control Unit officers arrived on scene and advised the suspect that they had a search warrant for his body, and his residence.
Officers knocked and announced their presence at the front door of 16 Old Road, and advised the occupants that they had a search warrant. A protective sweep was conducted and one of the occupants had two warrants for her arrest.
As a result of the search warrants, officers recovered a Colt MK4 with six rounds in the chamber, a Cobra CB Special with two rounds inside the cylinder, multiple plastic bags of crack cocaine and fentanyl, and approximately $926 in U.S. currency.
The drugs were determined to weigh approximately forty-five grams of crack cocaine, and two grams of fentanyl. Officers also discovered digital scales, and drug packaging materials from inside the apartment.
Lashley was placed under arrest and is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court for the following charges:
- Armed Career Criminal Level 2
- Possession of a Firearm Without an FID Card Subsequent Offense
- Two Counts of Possession of a Firearm Without an FID Card
- Two Counts of Possession of Ammunition Without an FID Card
- Improper Storage of a Firearm
- Trafficking of Class B, in 36 grams of More, less than 100
- Possession with Intent to Distribute Class A
Cruz was placed under arrest and is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court for two active warrants for various charges that include Motor Vehicle Law Violations, Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, Larceny, and Receiving Stolen Property.
