About 2:55 PM on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to the area of 107 Munroe Street, Roxbury, for a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, officers observed an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound was transported to a local hospital and later pronounced deceased. The victim has been identified as 21-year-old Justin Bettencourt of Dorchester.
