BPD in the Community: Boston Police Starts Asian American Heritage Month Reading Series in East Boston

The Boston Police Department launched its Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month reading series with a visit to the Bradley School in East Boston.

Officers read an inspiring story to a group of first graders and then spent time answering questions from the students—sharing both their cultural backgrounds and insights into their work as police officers.

It was a meaningful way to celebrate AAPI heritage and build stronger connections with young members of the community!

Thanks to the Mayor’s Office of Early Childhood and the Lingzi Foundation for helping make these happen!
