Investigation Update: At about 7:53 AM, on Monday, January 13, 2025, officers assigned to District B-3 (Mattapan) arrested Naysaan Austin, 29, of Dorchester, in the area of 1165 Blue Hill Avenue. At the time of his arrest, the suspect was wanted on a warrant issued out of Dorchester District Court for Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, Serious Bodily Injury. He is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
The facts and circumstances surrounding the prior incident are as follows: At about 10:30 PM, on Monday, December 23, 2024, officers assigned to District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to the area of 21 Fessenden Street for a report of a person stabbed. The victim was treated for a laceration to the face on scene by Boston EMS, but refused to be transported to the hospital.
