Investigation Update: At about 8:51 PM, on Monday, January 6, 2025, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) arrested a Angel Rodriguez, 43, of Dorchester, in the area of 39 Roxbury Street. At the time of his arrest, the suspect was wanted on a warrant issued out of Roxbury District Court for Breaking and Entering into a Building in the Daytime for a Felony, Larceny from a Building, and Trespassing. He is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court.
The facts and circumstances surrounding the prior incident are as follows: As part of an ongoing investigation, detectives assigned to District B-2 were able to determine that the suspect broke into an apartment on Saturday, January 4, 2025 in the area of 95 St. Alphonsus Street. Detectives were advised that the suspect stole the victim’s laptop.
Detectives also sought charges against the suspect for a commercial breaking and entering incident that occurred on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, in the area of 2565. The suspect stole approximately $1,700 worth of items from the store.
