This past week the BPD had some visitors from the Boston Fire Department Teen Academy at Headquarters!
The teens toured our Operations Division and got an inside look at our day-to-day activities.
Deputy Nicole Grant spoke to them about the various career opportunities within BPD, both sworn and civilian, our mission of Community Policing, and shared an inspiring message about believing in yourself and going after your dreams.
The teens learned about the technology and resources we use, as well as the teamwork required to keep our community safe.
We’re excited to see how this experience might shape their futures and encourage their pursuing careers in public service.
