What an incredible day for these unbelievable Boston athletes to take part in the tourney known as the Red Carpet of Streetball in NYC!!!
The Boston Police Foundation COP fund (Community Opportunities Program) proudly sent 5 basketball teams from ‘Battle New England’ with head coach, Al McClain, to NYC for the Dyckman Tournament!
Our officers were excited to again be part of this important day! There was lots of intense competition throughout the day, but in the end Battle New England represented the City of Boston well. Both of our girls’ teams and one of the boys’ teams won trophies, and all of the youth brought their A game…showcasing their hard work and dedication!
Days like this remind us how important it is to support and empower our youth through sports!
We’re so proud of all of the athletes and thanks to the new Boston Police Foundation’s community COP fund and the legendary Al McClain for making this all happen!!!
