Happy National Donut Day!
Yesterday, Officers from District B-2 helped the Kroc Center Senior Group decorate donuts and enjoyed the Center’s special “Coffee and Conversation” program in honor of Veterans and the 80th Anniversary of D Day.
It was all to gear up for today’s celebration of the Boston Kroc Center’s annual Donut Day “Drive-in” Distribution!
Donut Day is one of the Salvation Army’s favorite days of the year (and one of ours too).
The day has roots dating back to our Donut Lassies on the frontlines of WWI!
