The Bureau of Community Engagement was at the William Blackstone Elementary School continuing their school reading series to celebrate AAPI Heritage Month!
Officers read the book “Drawn Together” and the students shared their imagination of the book’s story surrounding all the beautiful artwork on its pages.
The book teaches us that sometimes we don’t need words to communicate, we just need one thing in common.
We thank our partners at the Lingzi Foundation and Read Boston for helping to make these readings happen
