Around 12:25 PM on Thursday, February 29, 2024, while on a paid detail at 450 Washington St, an officer apprehended Jaekwon Taylor, 27, from Roxbury, on charges related to trespassing and possession of weapons.
The officer, directed to investigate the basement area by Asset Protection personnel, discovered a trespasser in the employee-only zone. Upon confronting the individual, the officer conducted a frisk, revealing black brass knuckles and a can of pepper spray in the suspect’s possession.
Taylor was subsequently taken into custody and is facing charges of unlawful possession of a dangerous weapon and trespassing. He is scheduled for arraignment at Boston Municipal Court.
