On Thursday, February 29, 2024, around 5:00 PM, officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) arrested Anton Nathaniel Clark, 21, of Mattapan, on firearm related charges.
The officers were on routine patrol in the Grove Hall/MECCA area addressing community complaints. Officers observed a vehicle and approached it, while speaking with the passenger they learned he had an active warrant. The suspect was removed from the vehicle and placed under arrest. While conducting a search of the suspect on scene the officers recovered a loaded firearm from the suspects front left jacket pocket. The firearm was later determined to be a Jimenez Arms Inc Model J.A. 22 equipped with 1 round in the chamber and 5 rounds in the magazine.
Clark was taken into custody and faces charges of Unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of a loaded firearm, and unlawful possession of ammunition. He’s expected to be arraigned at Dorchester District Court.
