Investigation Update: At 10:50 AM on Friday, February 16, 2024, Detectives from District 1 arrested Rongit Whistleon, 54, of Boston, in the area of 39 Boylston Street on a straight probation violation warrant issued out of Suffolk Superior Court for Unarmed Robbery, Rape, Kidnapping.
Further investigation by detectives determined that Whistleon was the suspect wanted for two commercial robberies that occurred on February 11, 2024 at 226 Washington Street and 74 Staniford Street.
Whistleon will be arraigned on the straight warrant as well as two counts of Armed Robbery at the Boston Municipal Court.
