BPD Community Alert: Roxbury Detectives Seek Public’s Assistance in Identifying Suspect of Shooting on Blue Hill Avenue

BPD Community Alert: Detectives from District B-2 (Roxbury) are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an individual in connection with a shooting that took place on January 25, 2024 at about 7:04AM, at 236 Blue Hill Avenue.

Officers assigned to B-2 in Roxbury responded to a shot spotter activation at 236 Blue Hill Avenue. On arrival officers spoke with witnesses who stated the pictured suspect described as an unknown black male, wearing a black jacket exited the passenger seat of a motor vehicle and shot at the victim, not striking him.

The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding these incidents. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact District B-2 Detectives at (617) 343-4275.
