BPD in the Community: Commissioner Cox launched an exciting game of basketball this weekend, joined by special guest Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, a former NBA player for the Brooklyn Nets, Toronto Raptors, and Portland Trail Blazers. Student athletes from East Boston High School faced off against officers from the Boston Police Department in a highly anticipated match-up held at the school. Despite a major comeback attempt by our officers, East Boston High secured the victory. The event, complete with pizza courtesy of Boston PAL, provided a fantastic opportunity for community engagement, highlighting teamwork and community spirit on the court!
