At about 3:50 AM, on Friday, December 01, 2023, officers assigned to District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) and B-3 (Mattapan) arrested Luis Luho, 48, of Boston, on firearm related charges.
Officers responded to the area of 155 Williams Street for a report of a person with a gun. Officers were advised by Boston Police operations that the suspect threatened a victim with a firearm. A description of the suspect and the fleeing motor vehicle was given to responding officers.
Around 5:03 AM, officers from District B-3 located the vehicle parked in a bus stop near Blue Hill Avenue and Talbot Avenue. Officers observed the operator and an occupant exit the vehicle. Officers were able to stop both suspects and placed them into handcuffs. After further investigation, officers recovered a firearm from inside the motor vehicle.
Luho was placed under arrest and charged with: Assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, unlawful possession of a firearm, and unlawful possession of ammunition. He is expected to be arraigned in West Roxbury District Court.
The other individual was promptly released from the scene.
