At approximately 12:06 pm on Tuesday October 24, 2023 Officers assigned to District D-14 (Brighton) arrested Darrell Murchison, 59, of Brighton for a stabbing incident that occured at 14 Fidelis Way in Brighton.
Officers responded to 14 Fidelis Way for a report of a person stabbed in the parking lot, upon arrival the officers located an adult male victim suffering from non-life threatening stab wounds. The victim was transported to the hospital for further treatment, the suspect who was identified on scene was placed under arrest shortly after.
Murchison was placed under arrest and charged with: Assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon. He is expected to be arraigned in Brighton District Court.
