At about 2:30 PM on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, officers assigned to District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) made an onsite warrant arrest of Lakeida Burris, 36, of Roxbury, in the area of 6 Ernst Street. At the time of her arrest, the suspect was wanted on outstanding warrants sought out of Roxbury District Court on two counts of Animal Cruelty charges.
The suspect had been recently highlighted on a BPD Most Wanted List and is expected to appear in Roxbury District Court for arraignment.
