Teens from the Boston Police Teen Academy built wooden benches with the help of Norfolk Hardware in Mattapan and Boston Police Officer Cynthia Brewington.
Our mission is to get our youth in the communities to partner with outside organizations to help them learn a trade or skill. It gives the youth the opportunity to put together something they actually constructed with their own hands and the pride to say “I helped build something”. This is the 16th year the Boston Police Academy partnered up with local youth to build memorable relationships.
