At about 11:00 AM, on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, officers assigned to the C-11 Drug Control Unit (Dorchester), and the B-2 Drug Control Unit (Roxbury), executed a search warrant issued out of Dorchester District Court for Roger Moore, 23, of Dorchester in the area of Athelwold Street and Merlin Street and Jahawan Hanson, 25, of Dorchester in the area of 11 Millett Street. As a result of the warrant, officers recovered a H&R .32 Revolver loaded with five rounds of ammunition, eighty grams of Crack Cocaine, nine gabapentin pills and $3,663.00 in USC.
Jahawan Hanson was arrested and charged with; Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition and Trafficking; Class B, Drugs, 14-27 Grams. Roger Moore was arrested and charged with; Distribution of Class B, Drugs, Possession with Intent to Distribute, Class B, Drugs and Fugitive from Justice as he was wanted out of Georgia on firearm and drug related charges.
Both suspects are expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
