BPD in the Community: Commissioner Cox, and Officers assigned to the Bureau of Community Engagement sponsored the first annual Unity Community Table Tennis Tournament event at the Perkins Boston Center for Youth and Families. The Commissioner presented two of our long-term partners with certificates of appreciation for their dedication to the community. Boston Police Academy Recruit Officers also showed off their ping pong skills. Our community partners, both the BCYF and the Dorchester Table Tennis Club, joined us as we had a night of competitive play.
