At about 12:13 PM, on Monday, July 31, 2023, officers assigned to District A-1 (Downtown), made two on-site arrests while on patrol in the area of South Station (700 Atlantic Avenue), after what officers observed what they believed to be a street level drug transaction between a group of individuals.
Upon further investigation, officers recovered; a Ruger LC9 firearm, loaded with seven rounds in the magazine and one round in the chamber, psilocybin mushrooms, plastic bags of Marijuana, a digital scale, $104.00 in USC and multiple credit cards in different names.
Christopher Greene, 32, of Medford, MA., was arrested and charged with; Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Distribution of Class D, Drugs, Possession with Intent to Distribute Class C, Drugs, Receiving Stolen Property, Distribution of Class D, Drugs while Possessing a Firearm within the Public Boston Commons Park. Kenny Pierre, 26, of Abington, MA., was arrested and charged with; Receiving Stolen Property and Possession of Stolen Credit Cards. Both suspects are expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court.
